The Foundry Division provides direct & indirect employment to 1500 people within an 8 Km radius, significantly contributing to the economic & infrastructure development of Sholinghur. This Division became a zero discharge industry of process water and pollutants in 2000 and zero discharge of solid wastes from March 2001 by utilizing it for creating kitchen garden, flowering trees and development of green belt.

The Foundry Division has developed “stabilized mud block technology” from solid wastes to construct buildings.
